Recently, we partnered with a private hospital in southern New Jersey to implement our Legacy Call Program, aimed at engaging their most loyal donors and securing planned gifts.
Our partnership with the hospital involved reaching out to 1,000 of their top donors to discuss planned giving opportunities. Recognizing the importance of personalized communication, we designed a tailored telephone outreach program to express gratitude for their support and gauge their interest in including the hospital in their estate plans.
Our experienced Tier 1 callers initiated conversations with donors, expressing gratitude for their loyal support and identifying their interest in planned giving. For those showing interest, our Tier 2 callers, seasoned planned giving specialists with over 20 years of experience, provided detailed information about planned gift options and secured commitments over the phone.
The Result: Out of the 770 donors reached by our Tier 1 callers, an impressive 30% expressed interest in planned giving or had already completed a planned gift. This high rate of interest underscores the strong loyalty of the hospital's donor base.
Furthermore, our Tier 2 callers secured and confirmed 18 planned gifts, totaling an impressive $1,023,000. Additionally, 68 prospects expressed interest in exploring planned giving options, representing a potential of $412,500 in additional gifts.
