Catapult Fundraising Welcomes Michael E. Blimes

Catapult Fundraising proudly announces that Michael Blimes has joined the Catapult team as Vice President of Client Development.


Michael has five decades of fundraising background in higher education, healthcare, human services, animal welfare, museums, and the performing arts. He has extensive experience with capital campaigns, endowment campaigns, major gift initiatives, planned giving, annual giving, and board development.


Throughout his impressive career, Michael worked for countless nonprofit organizations including The Ohio State University, University of Minnesota Foundation, New York Philharmonic, University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada Museum of Art, Colorado Neurological Institute, Roseman University of Health Sciences, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, American Humane Association, Colorado Community College System Foundation, Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona, and Colorado State University to name a few. Michael was the Founder and CEO of The MIDAS Consulting Group, LLC.


Michael is a current board member of the Las Vegas Business Academy, Sequoia Springs Trauma Center in Tucson, Arizona and a past board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Las Vegas Chapter, Southern Arizona Chapter, Colorado Chapter and Roaring Fork Valley Chapter. He also served as President of the Colorado Chapter of AFP.


Michael brings additional expert knowledge to Catapult’s senior leadership team. Michael’s expertise provides great opportunity for Catapult to enhance our service.
