Anthony R. Alonso
Anthony R. Alonso is one of the nation’s leading fundraisers with over three decades of expertise in direct marketing and telefundraising. In 2017, Anthony co-founded Catapult Fundraising.
Anthony is a natural leader and has managed his own business for over twenty years. During this time, he has learned how to overcome obstacles, navigate "gray areas" in an ethical manner, and how to motivate a team while always moving forward.
It’s Anthony’s expertise and passion for helping non-profit organizations that has allowed him to successfully raise close to a billion dollars for organizations in need over the last ten years alone.
Anthony’s impact on the profession goes far beyond serving Catapult’s clients. He has served on the boards of AFP New Jersey, The Giving Institute, Giving USA, the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy, and was a founding member of the AFP Industry Partners Council.
Due to his innovative and forward-thinking style, Anthony has had the privilege of partnering with thousands of prestigious clients across a variety of sectors including the United States Naval Academy, Anne Arundel Medical Center, the Betty Ford Center, Amazing Facts, The Field Museum, and the International Rescue Committee to name a few.
Outside of the office, Anthony enjoys Las Vegas’ finest restaurants and watching world-class shows and performances. He also enjoys spending time with his two teenage children and watching the New York Yankees.
Paul A. Dunne, CFRE

Paul A. Dunne, CFRE is one of the premiere fundraising experts in the country. With two decades of experience, it was a natural fit for Paul to merge his firm, thinkpadsolutions, with Catapult Fundraising in April 2019.
Paul is a well-known and respected thought leader in our industry. His passion, drive, and expert knowledge allow him to provide counsel to organizations across a variety of non-profit sectors on the strategic planning and implementation of development plans and fundraising growth. Paul specializes in board development and training, non-profit audit services, and the execution of capital campaigns of all sizes.
Paul has had the privilege of partnering with organizations including Cornerstone Ranch, the Children's Diabetes Foundation, Christian Ministries International, Brownwood's Lyric Theatre, the Deaf Action Center, and Relationships First to name a few.
Paul currently serves on the AFP International Foundation Board and spent 7 years serving on the AFP Board. Paul was the proud recipient of the AFP Colorado Chapter Outstanding Fundraiser award.
Prior to founding thinkpadsolutions in 2016, Paul was on the senior leadership team of many non-profit organizations including the Denver Rescue Mission, the Inner City Health Center, Howard Payne University, and North Hawaii Community Hospital. At each of these organizations, Paul played a major role in the success of their capital campaigns, strengthening the organizations' development departments, building a strong board of directors, and providing leadership and mentorship to his teams.
Beyond his work in fundraising, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and is an ordained minister with decades of experience in ministry work. Paul is an accomplished actor and did back-up singing for artists including Shania Twain, Chris Tomlin and others.
Diane M. Carlson
Diane M. Carlson is on a mission to successfully manage capital campaigns and fundraising programs for non-profit organizations nationwide.
A natural born leader and entrepreneur with over four decades of experience, Diane has been instrumental in raising billions of dollars for prestigious organizations across a variety of sectors including The Cleveland Clinic, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Yale University, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, New York City Ballet, and New York University School of Law.
She is often sought after for her creative solutions for fundraising problems, innovative style, ethical fundraising techniques, and ability to lead her team and clients to success.
Diane co-founded Catapult Fundraising in October 2017. Prior to forming Catapult, Carlson served as Chairman of IDC for over 25 years and later founded 1-2-1 Philanthropic Services.
Diane has been named AFP New Jersey Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year, has earned the AFP Las Vegas Chapter Lifetime Achievement Award, and is one of six recipients nationwide to receive the SAGE award.
When Diane is not running her business and servicing clients, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, spending time with her family, and interior design.
Bill’s lengthy fundraising career began as a Major Gifts Officer for his alma mater, Georgetown University.
He founded IDC, Ltd. in 1974, which grew to become one of the largest firms in fundraising history with more than 300 employees. It served colleges, universities, independent schools, hospitals, medical centers, health/human services, and arts organizations worldwide.
Bill is the founder of the Phone/Mail Telecommunications fundraising process which was developed at Yale University in 1978 for its capital campaign. Millions of dollars have been raised using this fundraising tool in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his fundraising career, Bill founded SFS Entertainment and has produced 12 musicals in Las Vegas including Hello Dolly, Annie, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and South Pacific to name a few.
